Job Overview:

Medscape Education is seeking a Research Analyst to support medical education evaluation and grant-seeking efforts. In this role, you’ll assess programs that improve the knowledge and performance of healthcare providers worldwide and translate data into insights for stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand analytical and reporting needs

  • Manipulate data from a variety of sources (including databases and spreadsheets) and perform statistical analysis using Excel, R, SPSS, and/or SAS, to understand trends and replicability of the findings.

  • Work off pre-specified templates to design and prepare reports and presentations using tables, visualizations, and infographics for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Assist with data exploration and analysis for evaluation and insights projects that may have open-ended questions

  • Assist with data analysis and write-ups for conference abstracts and publications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Behavioral or Social science, Statistics, Public Health, or Market Research or a similar field

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in research and data analytics

  • Knowledge of research methodology and statistics 

  • Above-average skills using Excel for reporting analysis and creating PowerPoint slides

  • Prior experience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences or Market Research or a similar field

  • Experience in medical education, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries

  • Experience working with Tableau/Tableau Server and SQL

  • Experience working with offsite stakeholders

  • Experience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders

  • Familiar with web-based data and document sharing sites and authoring tools (SharePoint)
