This position is out of our Prescott, AZ office.\n \nThis position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The Fire Alarm Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing deficiencies and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers. \nJob Responsibilities \n \n\nManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service and repairs while maintaining a high level of quality.\nProtect and maintain company equipment.\nComplete service reports on company tablet and ensure information is correct on deficiencies and repairs\nAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.\nLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.\nProtect and maintain company equipment.\nWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.\nMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.\nPerform any other tasks assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or Agent.\n\n \nJob Qualifications:\n \n\nPrior fire alarm service experience required.\nCSA FA2 license a plus but not required.\nApplicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.\nAbility to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.\nAbility to participate in on-call rotation.\nA strong work ethic and professional appearance.\nExcellent communications, and customer service skills.\nPossess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n \n\nApplicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity.\nA fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician.\nAbility and willingness to obtain NICET and other trade specific certifications as necessary.
