Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling systems
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical diagrams
Route cables through ceilings, walls, and conduits with precision and safety
Label and document cable pathways and connections accurately
Perform site surveys and assess cabling needs for new and existing projects
Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and IT teams to ensure timely delivery
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory related to cabling installations
Adhere to safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data cabling installation
Proficiency in copper and fiber optic cable termination and testing
Familiarity with Fluke or similar cable testing equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
